Add Potato Flakes To Thicken Chili
If you like your chili thick and your buddy prefers it more juicy, try adding a few potato flakes to make it a little thicker. Do so right in your bowl! It tends to lighten the color but is all the more hardy!

Potato flakes can be used to thicken soups and sauces, too. If you are out of flour or cornstarch, it can be used to thicken gravy.
