Ingredients
- 1 cup lard
- 2 cups flour
- 3 qt. cold water, divided
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 soup can milk
- 1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet seasoning
- 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
- 1 tsp. black pepper
Directions
In a pan or skillet, add lard and flour. Fry together until brown. Add 1 qt. cold water, mushroom soup and milk. Stir with whip and add 2 more qt. water and seasonings. Heat to desired consistency. Ready to serve.
