Pan Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lard
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 qt. cold water, divided
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp. salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

In a pan or skillet, add lard and flour. Fry together until brown. Add 1 qt. cold water, mushroom soup and milk. Stir with whip and add 2 more qt. water and seasonings. Heat to desired consistency. Ready to serve.

How much does this make? It sounds good but its just me and my son. So I don't want a lot unless it will keep well in the fridge. Thanks for sharing.
