Then I made it into a large size throw pillow. I did this by sewing the ends of the sleeves and the bottom shut. Then I stuffed it with a lot of fiberfill stuffing, and then hand sewed the neckline shut.
Source: I guess it came out of my own head, because I didn't remember seeing how to do it anyplace else.

No, I didn't make a sample pillow. I started sewing when I was 8-9 years old and have a tendency to rush in where angels fear to tread. At the time I made this pillow I was probably about 60 years old. I am now 69, so my age then is just a guess.

By the way did you try making a throw pillow out of an old t-shirt to see how it looked?
