Yes, I agree with GlensMom, We lost the key to or safe, so we first took it into a locksmith, but they couldn't open it, so we found a place that specializes in selling & opening safes & they opened it... Also, sometimes you can get the serial number off of the safe & they can make a key. Everything depends on the style, manufacture & age of the safe.

We had to take ours to a lock place. They install safes and open stuck ones.
