This sounds quite serious. I hope you take him to the vet now. If you cannot afford it I am sure your vet will work with you to make affordable payments. If you had a child who could not close his mouth you would certainly make arrangements to have him to be seen by a doctor. Since animals cannot talk and are dependant on us we have to make sure they have the proper care. Please do the right thing for your best friend.

Sounds like he has a dislocated jaw...I know this hurts in a human SO it is hurting your pet...PLEASE take him to your local vet immediately!

He might have a bone stuck in his throat, take him to the vet for an xray.

This sounds serious, although I don't know what might be causing it. Please get your dog to a vet right away.

I don't know how old your dog is but if your dog can't close his mouth he might have problems eating food or drinking which could lead to health problems, so the best thing to do is go and see your local vet.
