Easy Fruit Centerpiece

I just saw the cutest table decorations for a mother/daughter banquet and these would be great for any occasion, even a wedding. They used REAL FRUIT. Green apples, yellow apples and oranges with a single artificial flower stuck down inside it (clipped,of course), with a raffia bow tied around it. Another idea which was used for an outdoor wedding I helped with was a small patted purple african violet with a raffia bow. Centerpieces don't have to be big, overwhelming clusters of flowers. Sometimes simplicity is so much prettier.. and more affordable.
