My computer is Win 2000 and the defrag it comes with does not function. I once ran it for 6 hours just to see what would happen, and all it said was, "analyzing".
In XP, click the "start button", then click on "all programs", go up to "accessories" and click that, click "system tools" on the right, then move over to the left menu and click "disk defragmenter".
I did a shortcut to desk top for "disk clean" which I find handy.
What operating system are you running? Win XP, 98, 98SE? There is already a defrag on it. Right click on your C drive and choose Properties, then click the tab "Tools". The defrag will be there.
