Hi,

My formica countertop has a faded stain on it. It appears to be bleached out. I have gone to Home Depot and they tell me there is nothing I can do. I find this hard to believe that there is not a product to buy, maybe a stain or touch up marker to darken it. Please help me.

Thank you

Ms. Fletcher

I have heard a product callled Gel Gloss works well, it is available at Home Depot.

I have the same problem on a fairly new countertop near the sink. There must be some method to restore the original finish. It looks fine when wet, but when it dries it whitens a little and is dull.

I have the same problem on a new countertop. Has anything you've tried helped cover up or restore the finish
