If you use cloth diapers, you can use wool pants as a cover without needing anything else covering the cloth diaper.

The baby's skin breathes better and as they don't need washing every time they get damp (something about the properties of wool) you just wash them about once every few weeks (depending on use) when they start to develop a smell (it takes that long) and you re-lanolinize them after - it's the healthiest and cheapest thing you can do for your wee one.
