Thrifty Larger Funnel

I needed some way to put pickle relish into a squeeze container. I knew my standard size funnel was too small, and using a spoon was too messy. I thought of the lid to a Tupperware shaker container that I use a lot, took the cap off, and found my new funnel! The hole is about an inch wide.

Today I used the same lid to transfer dried onions from a large container to one that fits my cupboard. Works like a charm!

I have always used (cut off) all size soda bottle tops (large one is great for powders), tops off a other plastic bottles, even half gallon oj containers, etc.

I am always reinventing trash items for new uses where I can!
