We just bought some land that we are planning to set up for living pretty soon now. It's kind of far out from town so we want to make it mega fun for guests to be more excited about driving out. We have some ideas like an archery corse, a swing, a tree house, hamocks and a guest room library. Even with these things in mind we would like as many cheap ideas we can get to make our house more entertaining.

that's great! maybe a flower garden with a fountain and a small pavilion( stocked with your favorite books and some dry snacks). More for your enjoyment than others but you can always go stargazing!

Hi Gloria!

Ooooh, vacation heaven in wine country! I'm envious.

A great addition (especially if you enjoy evening entertaining -- with a good glass of vino, of course!) would be a dance floor under the stars! Expensive, ya think? Nope! Make four hinged foldable platforms of 2x4's and plywood and throw on paint. When the evenings over, fold up and put into the garage.

Cheers!

I remembered, it was hopscotch. How about ping pong and one of those climbing things for little kids that look like a geodesic dome?

Badmitton, croquet, bocce, volleyball, horse shoes and archery.
Also, one of those charts on the floor that little kids throw a pebble onto and then jump over the space where the pebble is. Can't remember the name of it.
Look up playground equipment on Google.
