Million Dollar Cookies

Ingredients
  • 1 cup shortening (1/2 butter, 1/2 Crisco)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups white flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Cream shortening and sugars together. Add egg. Sift dry ingredients together and mix into creamed mixture. Mix well. Add vanilla. Sprinkle a little sugar on top and bake at 350 degrees F.
