What can I do to stop my sofa cushions from sinking?

Have a thin piece of wood cut the size of the sofa to fit under the cushions. This worked very well for our sagging cushions.

There is a commercial product in catalogs like Lillian Vernon, that claim to support sofa cushions.
Also, you might consider measuring your sofa without the cushions. Then maybe you could get a piece of board cut to fit under the cushions to "lift them up". This is what my in-laws did and it worked for them.
