There is a commercial product in catalogs like Lillian Vernon, that claim to support sofa cushions. Also, you might consider measuring your sofa without the cushions. Then maybe you could get a piece of board cut to fit under the cushions to "lift them up". This is what my in-laws did and it worked for them. I hope this helps.
