Wildlife: Wren

I saw this fledgling house wren take his first "flight." He left the birdhouse, and stalled out. He went straight down into the neighbor's porch rail, hitting it with a "thunk." He landed directly below the point of impact. He noticed me with my camera, and as you can see, gave me a dirty look. I think he was embarrassed!

Lol! You're probably right. No adolescent wants to be caught looking silly - that's why the dirty look, I'd bet!
