We have recently moved into a rented house. The previous people had used a ring of Prestik to hang decorative plates in the bathroom. When they were removed, it left a greasy mark on the wall. How can I remove these marks as I am not putting anything in their place?

Try GooGone available at Pick 'n Pay Hyperama. That stuff will be your best friend once you discover it.

You could also try Kleen Green, available from Pick and Pay.

Try K2r - It's a spray dry cleaner with powder - I have used it to take grease spots from walls
