This is the view from my kitchen table. Once a month, starting when I notice new growth, I water my roses with 2 TBSP. Epsom Salts to 3 gallons of water. Aren't they beautiful?

Very nice roses. Who would have ever thought salt; thanks for the great tip. You've also given me a great idea for my new entrance to another outdoor room and a way to hide my compost area. lol

My mom has rose bush plants that are dying. She is away and I am in charge of them. Will the salt help bring them back. I do not have a green thumb.

Oh WOW!!
Your roses ARE beautiful !!
I have always put banana peels in the soil around the rose bush. Seems the roses love the potassium in the banana peelings.
But your way is soooo much easier to do.And your roses are spectacular!
Thanks for the hint!
