Use a bedspread or a large sheet or shop at Good Will & other Thrift stores, good luck.
I agree with the bedspread idea. Personally I've used an extra twin size extra long comforter. There are so many cute inexpensive ones out now. Even on eBay. Also found reversible's would come in handy.
