I have been looking for someone for a while now. I paid a good deal of money to a site called 1-800-U.S.Search. DO NOT use them. They copied a couple of names out of the phone book and sent it to me. That was it. I found much more on my own. I even wrote and asked nicely for a refund since what I received was pitiful. They refused. The reason I chose this site -it was on Oprah. I thought they would be reputable. They were not. They cheated me . Try county records, probate judges office, library.
As a bailbondsman, I can tell you that you really can't "find" anyone on the internet without paying unless they are easily found. When I say that I mean, if you have an address, name or number, you can go to the sites listed above or 411.com and do a reverse search. Other than that, if they are unlisted or otherwise not on those sites, you will have to pay. For business I use Autotrac, but I'm not sure if just anyone can use this or people in my type of business and the like. They do charge, but you get loads of information and good information. Hope this helps.
actually - the search itself is FREE but the results you must buy
the following is what you get when you are serious to find someone :
thanks you all !
http://www.phonebook.com/
leads back to intelius though which charges for searching
You can go online for public records. Just go to a search engine, type in the state and county you want to check into and you have a wealth of info at your fingertips.
state + county+ public records
state + county + probate court
state + county + name of correctional facility
There are many sites out there. A few you can try are: 411.com, Zabasearch.com, and Yahoo.com. In Yahoo.com go to People Search. Good LucK!

For reverse phone look ups I use phonebook.com. After you enter the site there is a link on the top that says reverse look up or something like that. It is free.
