I am contemplating purchasing some noodles called Miracle Noodles. I want to know if anyone has used these before and what do they think of them. You have to order them. They are pure fiber and calorie and cholesterol free.

It's an acquired taste. But inexpensive enough for you to buy a package and try it.
Remember to rinse first!

These are shirataki noodles and are marketed by different suppliers. Miracle noodle is just one name, but I find the House Brand at my local Safeway in a refrigerated case next to the tofu.

One 8 oz. package is 0 Weight Watchers points. : ) So, I buy them in bulk when the go on sale. They have a pretty long shelf life, but must be refrigerated. Check out http://www.hungry-girl.com/ for recipe ideas. So easy to use!

They aren't calorie free, but extremely low carb, something like 3 grams of carbs per serving. :)

You can find similar noodles in the asian isle at the grocery store or from here:

Hi, They are shirataki noodles. They are very good. You can not freeze them. I had trouble finding them. I finally found them in an oriental market. You need to rinse them off before using them. They have round ones like spaghetti, and flat ones like fettucini. Use them like you would cooked spaghetti. I make regular pasta for the family, and shirataki noodles for me. Loretta
