"Christmas in our Town " Christmas Float |

Our theme for our Christmas Float is "Christmas in our Town". I am trying to design a float to represent our Church, so we would like to have a Biblical theme.

How about a large scale sillouette of the church's front, then a 3D shape of an open Bible, make it look like it has pages etc. On the double open page, write some of the lines from the Christmas story, pick your favorites, ie the words the angels said to the shepherds. Do a fancy illuminated letter to start the quote. Then underneath in red, some sentiment about Christmas like " May this blessed season bring you peace, joy and brotherhood the whole year through" and perhaps add the name of the church. You could have some or all of your choir between the sillouette and the Bible, singing a medley of carols and other favourite hymns.
