- 3 lb. ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups fine bread crumbs
- 1 cup smooth applesauce
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 can tomato soup
- 2 eggs
- 3 cans tomato soup, undiluted
- 3 cup each of diced carrots, onions, celery
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- add water, if necessary to cover meat balls
Mix meat ball ingredients and form into medium sized balls. Brown and place in covered baking dish, pour sauce over. Bake 2 1/2 hours in slow oven (250 degrees F) until meat balls are puffed from absorbing sauce.

What temp is used to bake the meatballs?
