Yarn Keepers From Recycled Soda Bottles
I learned this tip from my mother many years ago. Store your skeins of yarn in 2 liter soda bottles. Cut the bottom off, thread the yarn through the top, and tape the bottle back together. No more tangled yarn!

I make these yarn keepers from empty 2 litter bottles. Your yarn stays clean and tangle free.
Step 1. Empty and wash bottle
Step 2. Remove label
Step 3. Cut in half
Step 4. Fill with a skein of yarn
Step 5. Run end of yarn through neck of bottle
Step 6. Take clear tape and reseal your cut
Or cut a hole in side of bottle and run end of yarn out it then you can also keep lid on bottle. By Randa from San Marcos, TX
