Keep Kids Busy With Summer Movies

Get free movies to watch from your local library. This is especially great for kids over the summer. Make one day a week a movie day. They might not have the latest movies that are in theaters but there are tons of kids movies available. To make it more enjoyable let them have their friends over.

I was surprised to learn how many people didn't know you could borrow movies from your library! And our library system offers an online service that you can find movies (and books) from anywhere in their system and have them shipped to the closest branch for pickup. So we don't have to travel to a different library for a different selection!

Also, check out your local theaters. Here in Tacoma, WA I know of a major theater that offers free movies for kids on Tuesdays at 10am! Can't beat that price!
