Strawberry Butter

This strawberry butter is a great topping for your morning toast or even on waffles.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine, room temperature
  • 1/3 cup strawberry preserves
  • 1 tsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. lemon juice

Directions:

Mix in food processor or with electric mixer. Pack in a crock or any dish with a lid. Refrigerate. Keeps for several weeks.

I'm sure you could also use butter and it would be good. Sounds like it would be very good. Think, I'll make some for weekend waffles.

It's called Strawberry "Butter", and yet the first ingredient is margarine? Wouldn't "Strawberry Spread" be more appropriate?
