Use Spaghetti Instead of a Long Match
In a pinch for a long match, use a piece of spaghetti. Just light the end. It's great for lighting water heater pilots, etc.

Thanks for sharing -- I think I've heard this somewhere before, but have forgotten. I will definitely do this in my candle jars when they get too low to stick my hand in. Thanks again!
