Do you make a mess when draining grease from cooked hamburger? I set my grease jar in the sink while spooning the grease. If I spill a little, no worry. I'll rinse the sink out when I'm finished.

This also works well when filling a lunch thermos with soup or pouring a large batch of sports drink mix into individual bottles.
