Safety Pin Necklace Race (Baby Shower Game)
Present each guest with a bowl full of safety pins. Set a stopwatch for one minute and yell, "Go!" The woman who can make the longest chain of safety pins in two minutes wins!

Another fun, but hard game to play at a baby shower: Every guest is given maybe 3-4 safety pins as she arrives. The woman pins them to her clothes and then if she's heard by anyone saying the word BABY during the shower, whoever heard her is allowed to confiscate one of her pins. Whoever at the end of the shower has the most pins, wins a prize! Also a variation of that is whoever crosses their feet or legs loses a pin to the observer. It all sounds easy buy believe me, it isn't! I lost my pins on both games.
