Colitis Disease? A friend came to visit me over the long weekend and informed me that she had Colitis. She could not eat anything with Fibre. We live on fibre. I asked her how she copes? Very difficult as even Doctor cannot help her with recipes and what to avoid, etc. Does anyone know of a site or any delish recipes that I can send her. Thanks!

Terry from Nova Scotia, Canada

Thought had crohn's disease or colitis was in bathroom many times a day nonstop, remembered something and put apple cider vinegar,(forgot amount maybe a tablespoon) in glass of water, and that stopped it instantly, then got the activia, you take one container a day for 2 weeks. Like a miracle, Wishing best for your friend. Been there done that!

I've had Ulcerative Colitis for 39 years. There is a juice I discovered about a year ago. It's actually helped me to reduce my medication to nearly nothing. Go to XanthoneU.com to find out about it.

These are not actual recipes ,but more of helpful hints. Also if you type Crohn's Disease diet in google you will probably find more than enough recipes.
