Ok now, Just admit it. You don't have everything you want, but you have everything you NEED. Use a grocery list and stick to it. Sell what you don't need, either in an ad, yard sale or over the net. Bartering is fun and a lot of people are anxious to do it. Let people know that you need a dresser, and would be happy to trade for a piece of furniture that you really could do without. There are bulletin boards in some businesses and libraries that accomodate bartering notes. If not, you might suggest it to your local deli.
