Use your cookie cutters for something other than making cookies. Small cookies cutters can be used to press shapes (heart shaped for instance) out of carrots, cucumber coins, apple slices and any other vegetable that can be sliced thinly or flatly.

I also use them on sandwiches and slices of cheese for the kids.
One day when my mom was watching my girls, they asked for pumpkin sandwiches. She could not imagine what I was feeding them. Then they showed her the pumpkin cookie cutter and she realized that they wanted their sandwiches cut into pumpkins!
