Lenard is a one and a half year old Miniature Dachshund. I got him January 2008, a gift for upcoming 'empty nest.' He likes to watch birds from his window seat, and play with his toy raccoons. He never meets a stranger, and loves everyone!

Thanks, Jo! He is a sweetie, and actually the first 'small' dog that we have had. We have several farm dogs outside.

I'm more a "mid-size dog" person (my fave of our three dogs is about 65 lbs,) but I gotta vote for a wiener dog, even a mini-weenie, lol!
