We had a little gal named Heidi--same coloring--LOVE thsi breed! She was so good with the kids and just a great littel companion.

Warning------ Be very careful of this breed of dog.
They are soooooooooo smart. If you don't pay
close attention, they will have you trained to wait
on them hand and foot is less than a day!
I have one, I know! I learned the hard way. I am now at
her beck and call and have been for 11 years.
What a JOY! I love every minute of it.

My sister has a long hair dachshund named Charlie. Charlie is 2 years old. Every one in the family just loves him to bits. Rusty looks a lot like Charlie. Aren't dachshunds fun?

Very pretty boy and oh so shine-y!!!
I would just get him lots of chew things
like the faux pig ears if you give them plenty
then it saves your shoes. I kept lots
of chewies for my pups and when they
went to chew on something good I would
get them a chew toy or stick and they
learned not to chew objects.

Rusty is so pretty. I have 4 dashounds now. Don't want to think of life without them. Love them
