What glue can I use on foam rubber? I want to make a bed for my Great Dane since we can't find one big enough. I've tried several kinds to no avail. The foam rubber that I have is 4" thick so it needs to be pretty strong glue.

Thanks,
Donna from Dayton

Why do you want to glue? If your dog will be using the foam rubber as a bed, why not make a removable cover for the foam? Can you sew? All you have to do is get some material, ( have any laying around, like denimn, large bath towles , ect. measure the length of the foam, measure the width , and measure the sides , ( this will be the four inches. Then cut the material at least 2 inches bigger than the foam, sew using 1/2 inch seam . Don't forget to sew right sides together , so you will be able to turn it right side when you are done sewing. Now you have a removeable cover for thefoam for the bed

I have used a spray adhesive as suggested by vickya and it was a very strong bond; I bought the can at the home improvement store (Menards). You would probably be able to find it at a Lowe's, Home Depot, or at a local hardware store.

My husband suggests trying silcone glue and seal. It comes in a tube at places like ACE Hardware.
