Dakotah is my 'Grand-dog', meaning he belongs to my daughter. He is 6 yrs. old and is her baby (think's he human). She can say go to Grandmom and he will come to me or tell Papaw goodbye and he will go to him. So smart, just like a grandchild.
We have a 6 mo. old Rottie named "Maximus" before him we had one for 15 years named "Harley." Unable to have children of our own, these are our "children." They do think they're human. Max loves to lay on the couch w/his daddy. I know just how you and your daughter feel. What undying love they give. Isn't it wonderful to have them in your life?
