OK. This is easy. A drill to make holes in each book. Arrange your books in a stack. line the holes up.
I forgot to tell you to go to Home Depot or like store for a light kit with a pole. Tell them what you are doing they will get it for you. When you have your pieces you will see how it goes. Put the pole from kit through your holes and attach the base to bottom book, Voila...lamp. It really is easy. I know my directions are horrible but look at your pieces you CAN do it...Mrs. J.
