I am not happy with the magic jack. It doesn't work the way they say it does. You can't really fire your phone company, and the number they give you is long distance.

I ordered my magicjack sometime last month. I will be returning my magicjack tomorrow. The reason why is because I wanted to use my existing telephone number and when I went to ask for the 920 area code, online it said it would be available in 30 days. Don't know how to get my number to be the magicjack number. No contact information. 2/9/09

I bought on of those magicjacks from the TV to return it you need to go to their web page click on talk to live person then type in talk to chat line then when chat appears ask them to get you rma return paper have all your info ready it took me more than six hours to get this done they don't tell you in the add you need over 128kb/s up and down load for it to work This is the WORSE COMPANY to deal with.

The magicjack is not working. I dial the telephone number, no dial tone in session progress, after the progress, back to dial tone.

I got a magicjack but want to return it because when i recieved it the order had additional shipping charges and a gold plan that i didn't order but as of yet have been unable to find an address or any info to return it. What can be done.

I got it and it did not work on my computer. I went to send it back and the web page could not be found is what it said on the internet after I got on the magicjack.com.
The page to get the information to return it would not come up.So I sent it back on June 27, 2008, then it was returned to me because postage had to be paid.So I sent it back on July 15, 2008. The next day the payment was taken out of my account. I am want a person to talk to, to get my money back.

It was easy to find!? they took mine back as I followed the rules and returned it with in 30 days.to be fair in my case the problem was my old computers more than the Magicjack itself.
