Easy, inexpensive, and a very nice holiday gift!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup instant coffee
  • 2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 2 cups vodka

Directions:

Simmer the water, brown sugar, and instant coffee for 30 minutes, then add the vanilla flavoring and vodka. Pour into pretty glass bottles and decorate with colorful holiday ribbons and tags.

Tastes very good in coffee or serve however you would Kahlua. This is best stored for 30 days, so make it now for Christmas gift giving. :)

The kahlua will keep for a long time in your pantry. (Usually it is all used up in a short amount of time though. ;)

Sounds good! How long does it keep? Does it need to be refrigerated?

Bring to a boil. Boil one minute or until a syrup.
