It's chicken tenders with cheese crackers. It has been my daughter's favorite meal since she was 5 (there's not a lot she would eat, so it has to be good). And it's easy to make!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. chicken breast tenders
- cheese crackers (about half of a box)
- sour cream
- 1 stick butter/margarine
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions:
Crush or crumb the crackers in blender or food processor. I start with a small amount and judge if I need more. Coat the chicken with sour cream (again judge how much - you only need enough to coat the chicken) Roll it in the crumbs.
Melt the butter/margarine and drizzle over chicken. Season to taste. Place in baking dish. If you line the dish with foil, clean up is a snap.
Bake at 400 degrees F. for about 45 minutes. Enjoy!
