My sister just bought me a half-price satin purse for my son's wedding and found several others at a store in the area malls in Ohio called "Claire's Boutique." They are small stores that carry mainly jewelry and hair adornments, etc. These were leftover purses from the time around when high school proms were held. I've also seen satin purses at resale shops and like the other writer said, at Goodwill and Salvation Army stores.

I found some wonderful simple satin and cloth bags at the Mighty Dollar store, might want to see your local dollar store

You might want to check Goodwill or Salvation Army for purses you can re-decorate.
