I have a pair of coral colored slacks, they got black leather dye stains all over the leg from a black leather watch band. How can I get these stains out?

Request: Removing Clothing Stains From Wet Leather

Archived on 08/21/2009

Does anyone know how to remove leather stains from a white cotton shirt? My friend was out in the rain with a leather cowboy hat which dripped all over his shirt.

RE: Removing Clothing Stains From Wet Leather

I wonder if instead of the leather staining the cotton shirt, perhaps it was some dye or treatment on the leather of his hat. I and many of my friends use leather hats as rain hats and I have never known any of them to stain clothes. (11/09/2008)
