Christmas Cake Decorating
This is a photo of a Christmas Cake I made last year. It is a red cherry velvet cake with cream cheese icing. I made it not long after I had taken my first cake decorating class!

You're doing really well. Keep on going, soon a lot will become automatic and you can go on to the really involved decorating.

Hi Julie,
I too, decorate cakes and have for years. It is my passion! You did a great job on your first cake. My email addy is glassangel AT charter.net if you would like to keep in touch. I can send you some photos of some of the cakes I've done.
I'm getting ready to do several special birthday cakes for my grand babies that will be turning 2 this month and next. I'm thinking of doing castle and princess cakes for them.

Lovely and delicious, what a great combination! Your cake looks too beautiful to cut, yet sounds too good to resist. I doubt that it lasted long after the first slice was taken. :)
