Amount is for a 9x13 inch cake pan. I have also sprinkled chocolate chips over mixture before baking.

Great idea. I also tried pouring a pudding mixed up to directions onto batter of cake, then baked it. It turned out delicious. Lemon cake batter plus lemon pudding on top is a favorite, hot or cold. I used the lemon pie filling made up, because it is a little tarter.
