Jezebel Sauce |
|
|
A friend who relishes holiday entertaining will adore a gift of Jezebel Sauce. This zesty condiment offers an unusual blend of pineapple preserves, apple jelly, horseradish and mustard, and it's delicious with meats or appetizers. Here's the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1-18 ounce jar pineapple preserves
- 1-18 ounce jar apple jelly
- 1-18 ounce jar horseradish
- 6 tablespoons horseradish mustard
Directions
Combine all ingredients with an electric mixer or food processor; mix unil well blended. Cover and store in the refrigerator. Serve with meat or cream cheese and crackers. Makes about 4 cups of sauce.

RE: Jezebel Sauce
I have made this before.. and I love it.. BUT trust me.. that's too much horseradish! It needs to be about half that. And add about 1-2 T of Black pepper. It's wondeful! I love it. Cindy
