Toy Group

These dog breeds are characterized by their small size and gentle natures. Dogs in the toy group make good companions, especially for people who live in small apartments or houses in the city because they generally require less exercise and living space. These breeds are usually affectionate, alert and loyal, and often make good watchdogs and travel companions. Examples of breeds in the toy group include Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, Papillions, Pekingese and Shih Tzu.
