It was a blow to my heart when the young girl helping me with my children gave notice but I very fond of her so I was really glad that she was bettering herself with a job as a housekeeper.
"Is it with a large family?" I asked.
"No, ma'am. Just two."
"A man and his wife?" I asked.
"No," she answered. "A man and me!"
