Baked Fudge Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • Ad

  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 3/4 cups hot water
  • whipped topping

Directions:

Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt together into greased 9 inch square baking pan. Add nuts, and toss together lightly. Blend butter, milk, and vanilla in small mixer bowl. Add to flour mixture, and blend well. Mix brown sugar and cocoa in small bowl. Spread over batter. Pour hot water over mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes. Serve with whipped topping. 8 servings.
