Cans to Stabilize Condiments in Fridge

Gold Post Medal for All Time! 969 Posts

A collection of recycled aluminum cans near tall narrow condiment bottles.I love condiments. But some of the bottles are a little too slender to stay up when I open the door. Today I came up with something I think might help some of you.

I washed the cans from soup, veggies and olives. Then I took off the labels and put them in the door. Now my tall things like ketchup, soy and teriyaki sauces, and more stand up no matter how often or how fast I open the door. N-JOY!

Good thinking.

I buy a half ounce bottle of vanilla flavoring because I seldom use it. To keep it from turning over, I place it inside a larger peanut butter jar.

I store my salad dressings on their lid, so I can get every last bit out of the bottle, this will really help me.

Thanks for that tip! A good way to keep the shelves clean also!

I use the little white baskets from the dollar store or empty potato salad containers from the market. Also a few unused coffee cups for some items. The first two choices work wonders for beverage bottles with the pointy bottoms. You can space them apart to help secure other items as well. Bonus! Easier to clean fridge!

There is just me and I get home delivered meals so I don't need a lot of space in the fridge. I use two revolving trays for some items as well as canned fruits and beverages to cut down on the cost of electricity.
