Firewood Safety With Poison Ivy?

We cut down a tree in the late fall. There were poison ivy vines wrapped around part of the trunk. Is it safe to burn the wood if the vines are removed and it sits and dries out for a year?

Poison Ivy is too toxic for an amateur to answer your question.
Post your question on your local Extension Service site and they will be able to give you professional advice.
