We have that available to children at our large stores. A wonderful idea..... I always get a free bite of sausage, pizza, etc., especially if it is close to lunch and I am getting hungry.

Many stores have samples and demos. Sometimes free samples to bring home usually during special holidays or weekends.

Our local grocery store does this, but I wish they had for the elderly also. The ripe fruit looks so good, but I can't afford much fruit on my limited income.

That would be really nice if they provided samples to elderly also. There are some apps for local grocery stores so you can get free items. :) You should see if your stores participate in that.

I'm afraid this annoys me. The stores only do it to keep the kids quiet so you'll stay longer and buy more and they don't pay for it ; we all do. It's a marketing ploy as usual.

I find it keeping kids occupied and getting the trip done quicker. :)
