Mix 1 part hydrogen peroxide and 1 part original blue Dawn dishwashing liquid. Brush on stain. Wash as usual. Note: I let it sit half an hour.
This works wonders on stains, even if you have put the item in the dryer.

And!! If you add baking soda to the dishsoap/peroxide mix you now have the BEST solution to get skunk smell removed from your pet. Mix in a glass bowl then use immediately (do not store this). Simply lather your pet up avoiding eyes and ears. Then rinse thoroughly. It doesn't change the color if the pets hair. I've used this on my big black dog with no problem. It also works around the house to clean and neutralize any pet smell or any other offensive smell.
